USA Network HD is (not) listed on ad in USA Today

The ad makes no mention of HD. It simply says that you don't have to miss anything and shows several channels with no reference to whether they are SD or HD. We are reading too much into this.

The marketers conveniently mixed HD channels and non-HD channels in the ad. I think the implication that you can get some or all of these channels in HD is there but the implication is subtle.

You are giving the DISH advertising department WAY too much credit. They aren't that clever.

This is what I found on USA Network website. Dish needs to step up or lose
subscribers. Must be over price. This question was in the feedback.


Q. How do I watch USA Network in high definition?
A. USA-HD is a separate channel that simulcasts USA Network in 1080i high definition. USA-HD is available on DirecTV and several cable systems. If you do not receive USA-HD, please call your cable or satellite operator.
