I am new to this site and hope to become kowledgeable with respect to options with use of my Sirius Radio. I discontinued my Dish network and as required returned most of the parts. However, I was not required to return the actual dish which is still mounted on my roof.
I have a new Sirius Satellite radio and need to hook up to an appropriate antenna. The Best Buy employees were not able to offer suggestions.
1) Can I somehow use the dish for my radio?
2) If not, should I simply trash the dish?
3) If I can use it, how?
4) If not, where can I buy a good antenna for my Sirius Satellite Radio?

Thanks for helping this rookie!

SiriusXM satellites move. Dish satellites are fixed.

You could use it to mount a Sirius magnetic antenna to it and then run the wire to your unit. That is what I did with my Dish antenna, so technically I am not using the dish but only as a piece of metal high up for the XM antenna.
