Use Wireless Radios To Transmit Video Wirelessly?

Does anybody know of any type of software and any literature that would help guide someone on setting up a pair of wireless radios to transmit video? Something like they use for webcams that are hooked up wirelessly?

This sort of thing is done with hardware for back up cameras on RVs. They don't seem to work very well.

But trying to get radios (audio) to work with video via s/w- unknown to me. Sounds like any kludge would be low frame rate.

If it is a radio, where would the video display? If you can provide more info such as type of equipment, what the environment is, etc., that may help with trying to get you an answer.

nope, not enough bandwidth on radio waves.
You would need a 2.4GHz video bridge. That is what it used for video baby monitors, etc.

I was talking about WIFI radios like wireless internet providers use. There is capability of 54 MB on some radios in G mode using up to 20 MHZ worth of channels while others are over 100 MB with MIMO type of technology that uses 40 MHZ worth of channels. I know that 5 GHZ providers even more bandwidth than 2.4 GHZ. I would like to figure out how to turn a television signal output from a satellite receiver (just standard definition would suffice for now) and transmit it wirelessly to another radio with a pair of wifi radios then convert that back to video for a television.

You would need a 2.4GHz video bridge. That is what it used for video baby monitors, etc.

I am sure those radios are not near as powerful as the ones I use. I have heard of complaints about the ones made just for wireless audio/video that the picture was not very clear and the range was very limited.
