Using 5.4 IR Remote with Joey

So I'm using an old 5.4 IR remote with one of my Joey's, because I have the HDMI going to 2 rooms. The remote works good, but I can't figure out if there is a way to send the Red, Green, Yellow and Blue buttons. I see that the Rewind, Back, 30 second skip, and Forward, are colored as if I might be able to use them for these keys. Does anyone know if there is some type of sequence for this?

You would need at least a 20.0 or newer remote that has the learning function in order to teach a remote to use those functions.

Hey Fiveft20in, the one I have works and is free.
I was mostly wondering why the rewind, fast forward, etc. buttons are colored with those same color codes. I thought maybe there was some special way to make them function as those buttons.

I don't think there is any relevance. The 20.0 remote is the first to have the colored buttons in this configuration. The 5.4 is a much older remote and there is probably no way to reengineer it to have all the functions to work with a Joey receiver.
