Is the Motorola VIP2250 the latest greatest uverse dvr with the biggest hard drive ? I have uverse with a Cisco dvr that I think has 320 gig hard drive. From what I understand the VIP2250 had a 500 gig hard drive is this correct ? I've been with uvers a for several years , will I be able to upgrade to this dvr for free ? I have the top package u450 or whatever it's called.

Not sure if you are still looking. From what I understand, you can take the old drive out and replace with up to 1TB, that's what I can find on the net. I just got hired by AT&T start in DEC doing U-Verse installs, I will let you know what I can find out. I don't think they support nor condone you opening up their equipment and swapping out the drive though. 500GB is pretty weak though!
