Vaction service?

so i am moving somewhere where they already have directv with every channel, so my dish network isnt needed really during that time. The company I work for made a $1000 prepayment on my Dish account, so i definately do not want to lose that. I know i can pay $5/mo and put it on a reserve/vacation status, but question is, how long can i leave it that way, also will i lose the prepayment if so?

Im really trying to decide if i want to go this route or go with AT60 for the time being (have everything package right now with 522 receiver). What is everyones thoughts?

There shouldn't be a limit on how long you can go on vacation.

But one thing is you can't go on vacation if you're leasing any receivers

we'll probably be there about 6 months, it is a leased receiver though, a 522...
