Vip 211

Dumb question. I want to change from a 811 to a 211. Presently I run one HDTV and a SD TV in another room. I must watch the same broadcast on both TV as there is only one tuner.

Does the 211 work the same way. Can I run two tvs one HD, and one SD at the same time with the same boradcast.

Essentailly the exact same, just adds the mpeg4 channels.

One difference between the two receivers that usually pisses off a lot of customers; no UHF remote. It's a PITA if you have a projector or, in your case, you want to change channels from a remote location

Thanks for that tidbit of info. Not having a UHF remote seals the deal. Time to start saving for a 622.
