Vip 622: How can I record two OTA programs at the same time?

Without OTA EPG on 622, is it possible to record two programs at the same time?

I guess other people might have talked about this before, but just couldn't find any related thread.

You cannot. You have only one OTA tuner. If it is busy you cant use it agai. you can record two satellite feeds at once or one OTA and one satellite. But you can't use the same tuner twice.

The 622 only has 1 ATSC tuner for OTA. You can record 1 OTA and 2 satellite channels simultaneously

If you are utilyzing OTA programming guide (I assume you are), then you are also subscribed to local channels via satellite. If E* is carrying your local channels in HD, one of your satellite tuners could record one local channel while the OTA tuner records, well, OTA. I have to do this on occation. Usually it's during sweeps.

But sometimes the local channel supplied by DISH is SD. For instance i lie in the DC area. If I wasted to record from the CW and My Network at the same time (Ok I doubt I WOULD Record anything on MY network) I would have to record one in SD.
