VIP Receiver Top Warning Label

Dish used a super strong adhesive to place the don't move your receiver while it is plugged in label. What can I use to remove the adhesive without removing the paint?

I use a little bit of olive oil on a cotton swab. Just keep rubbing it unti all of the sticky stuff lifts. Then, take some alcohol and wipe off the excess olive oil.

I second that - just make sure you place it on a paper towel - don't squirt it on to the receiver.

I have always just used ordinary lighter fluid until I decided to stop removing that label.

That stuff will lift the adhesive used to glue down anti-slip pads.
