VIP612 un-pause audio gap?

I replaced an old 522 a few months ago with a VIP612 and have noticed that when resuming from pause, the audio does not come on for 1 - 2 seconds. Neither my current VIP722K, 625 or old 522 had this problem, is this normal for the 612? The hookup to the TV is via HDMI and this problem occurs whether from a prerecorded program or pausing live TV.

Any comments or advice are greatly appreciated.

I think I've noticed that too. Have to check, though, to make sure.

Happens from time to time but very brief. Not sure it's even a second.
