ViP612 vs ViP622

It took almost 1 year for me to figure this out.

I have the ViP612 and has a PIP button, but I cant do it.

1. Is that right that the ViP622 can do it? But its not on Dish website.

2. Can I go to ebay and buy my own HD receiver and dont have to pay the $5 fee per mth?

Yes, the 622 has PiP. The 612 does not. And yes, you will still have to pay the fee, owned or not.

Yeah, I'm sure you can. But if you call for an upgrade, they will usually bring you out a 722 or 722k.

No, Dish is no longer sending 622's out. 722's have taken their place which is better anyway. You get 20more hours of HD recording time.

Yeah, I haven't seen any 622s in the warehouse in months. It's all 722ks.
