Vip722 Remote Question

What kind of remote controls do you get with the VIP 722. I can't stand the silver ones .

If I have a newer Black and Silver ones, can I use them?

Yes, you can. It can work with a 20.1 or 21.1. 21.1 remotes can be programmed as UHF as well

Nowadays I think it is a 20.1 for TV1 and a 21.1 for TV2.

You could also go to Walmart and get yourself some 21.1's for cheap.

Any of the Dish Pro DVR remotes should work with the 612/622/722 and 722K DVRs.

Shouldn't be more than $22. That is $2 more than what DISH charges, but with the convenience of having it 'NOW'.

There are more stashed away somewhere, but they are all silver.

The one on the left says 5.3. The one on the right - it was from my 721 - no idea of the model, but it says UHF near the bottom. MC 2 27 J.

8.1 or 10.1 I'm guessing, not sure what the 721 used, but if it is the same as the IR to uhf converter, it required a 10.1(silver or blue... Cannot remember which color was designated for the title)

Sorry, been away a while today. Possibly. My main use would be to have an extra remote in my TV2 location to be able to control TV1 via UHF, but still have the primary TV1 remote control on IR for regular viewing. I don't even know if this is possible, or would I need 3 UHF remotes if I have to set TV1 to UHF as well as TV2?
