It is a pain to live in the PC FTA world with a mac, but it can be done with virtual pc. I had a CS5K for a year (door stop now) and just switched to CNX Duo with a thumb stick. A great unit. No hauling the stb to the mac, just load directly to the 64 mb stick, without even using the virtual pc, and pop it right into the CNX usb port and you're done.
Still using the Mac and FTA.

The Op is asking about DVB cards to watch FTA on his Mac though. You are talking about using the Mac to load <something?> on to your STB.

Just curious...why is your CS5K a doorstop?

How come your 5000 is a doorstop? I have a 5000 for 3 years now and love it
