I'm having some problems with my set up using Vista MCE, my Hauppauge HVR-1800, and my Dish 211/411 receiver. What I would like to do is use my Hauppauge card to record scheduled programs via MCE. I am able to record video into Media Center, but I am not able to change the channels on my 211 using the included IR Blaster. Whenever I try to change channels using my PC, it only transmits a single 0, regardless of what channel I tell it to change to. The receiver works okay with the Dish remote, and the MC remote works fine also. I just can't get the blaster to change the channels on my receiver. I have the 211 hooked to my TV using a HDMI cable, and have itt hooked to my Hauppauge card via coax. I went through the little Media Center remote learning deal with my Dish remote, and that seemed to go fine. But it has never worked. Any help would be very much appreciated!!! I was thinking that I may have a bunk IR blaster or soemthing.
