I am staying with VOOM at least for a couple of more months but my question is, if I do switch to DISH, will my satelite dish pick up DISH at the coordinates that it is pointed for VOOM? Or are DISHes coordinates completely different? I ask because my apt only has an East to Southeast line of sight. Thanks in advance.

Anyone???

Dish has International & a HD Demo channel on 61.5 so you could pickup those without moving your dish, but the bulk of their programming is on 110 & 119, which requires a Dish 500 that can see both sats.

From Darrell's posting the Dish sats are further west. Therefore, depending on where you live the Dish sats will be more SSE or S of you. It could be iffy.

Still watching HDTV while we got it under lightly raining Seattle skies, Gill

Voom has jerked us around, time to drop them
