i bought an ebay voom box with the latest software and which was
activated and has the scan ota menu item.
i installed an unamplified sensar uhf antenna to handle my 23 mile
distance from mt. wilson outside los angeles where all the hd stations
are sourced. i have about a 53' rg6 cable run.
most of my rf channels have strong signals but when i do a voom scan i
get nothing.
connecting the uhf antenna directly into the tv produces snowy uhf
pictures.
i am aiming the antenna into trees and don't see how to get around or
over them.
will a stronger antenna or preamp help me.
