That would not be a good idea. There is some VOOM content that is not at all "family oriented". I've seen a handful of movies that were TV-MA. This rating shows up occasionally for extreme violence on the Kung Fu channel.

According to the banner ad on the guide channel VOOM will be part of family cable.

You can set up the parental locks to block those channels based on rating if you want. But they will be included to everyone one who has the family package with and hd box or cablecard.
