Voom on the road.

Getting Voom installed on Dec 10. Hope everything goes OK.
Question....we go camping quite a bit and notice other satellite dishes hooked up. Mostly from the other two networks. Can you use Voom in such a manner as well? If so, where can a guy pick up an extra dish? Dose it have to be a Voom dish??

I do not know of a reason why it wouldnt work. And actually you could use a directv 3lnb dish. One of the LNB's is the same one voom uses. You'd need an antenna too to get locals.

My install is scheduled for the 10th also. I also have a triple lnb dtv dish on the roof now. I hope they can just reaim it. Since its an eliptical Im hoping it will give a better signal strength in the rain.

I have one in a storage shed. Ive never tried it but Ive seen others post that they have done it.
