[VOOM] Speaking of fireworks in HD!

Our local NBC affiliate, KING 5, carried 15 min. of HDTV fireworks
over Lake Union. It was really amazing. All that was missing was
realistic sound but the PQ was like being there. Another local, KOMO
4, an ABC affiliate, carried the fireworks show over Elliot Bay but in
was not in HD and we did not watch it. They do their local news
broadcasts in HD but not the fireworks. Go figure.

However, since we live in unincorporated King Co. all we had to do was
step outside our door to be in the middle of a fireworks show that
lasted for hours and rocked the house from time to time. I doubt all
the fireworks fit in the local "legal" catagory.

Last night MOOV-HD had fireworks on for 10 minutes from 10:50-11:00pm EDT. Did anyone see them? I wished they would have showed them more than once as I missed it

They showed it twice and it was more like pyrotechnics than fireworks but it was pretty cool, I hope they do show it again and put it in the Guide.
