[VOOM] To Wilt: a feature request for the Voom (motorola) receiver

I haven't see this feature in any HD STB but it would be cool:

Let user specify what to do with each resolution, rather than have the box
output at a fixed or "native" rez.

E.g., I'd like the voom box to do this:

1080i->1080i (pass thru)
720p->1080i
480p->480p (pass thru)
480i->480p

reason is my set can't handle 720p so "native" doesn't work, and I'd rather
have 480i converted to 480p rather than 1080i b/c it seems to look better that
way, plus I have more options for stretch mode.

hope that makes sense.

I would love to see caller ID and also be able to program blocks on the planner, like every Friday, or M-F, etc. That gets my vote!! Thanks!!

No I only posted once (that I know of).

I'm not a cablevision customer. I'm in AHellphia.
