Hello and thanks for any help. My system consists of a old 4000 reciever in an upstairs bedroom split to feed a tv there and one downstairs. I have a uhf and rf
remote for this operation. There is also a second reciever (311) in another bedroom
with a standard remote (rf). Lately the 4000 has been acting up so I aquired a new
322 reciever to replace the ailing unit. I wish to use tv1 in the bedroon with local
remote and use tv2 downstairs with uhf remote. I'm now not sure how to feed the new 322 from the dish switches and lnbs. The dish is a 500 but how compatible with the new feeds... that's where I'm lost. I'll try to attach pictures of the hardware at the dish for more info. I understand the 322 needs two inputs for the dual tuner but
again that's where I need help....thanks for any help....Kevin

You have a Legacy system 2 dual LNBs with 2 SW-21 switches. 1 cable runs to the 311 and 1 cable runs to the 4000. You 322 if you bought it new should have come with a separator, this only works with Dish Pro Plus technology. The best suggestion is buy a DISH Pro Plus Twin. Run 1 cable from the Twin to the 311 and 1 cable from the Twin to the separator connected to the back of the 322.
