Is there a way to wall mount a receiver vertically with some sort of mount. Looking for an option other than a shelf or entertainment cabinet below a wall mounted LCD.

Thanks,

Greg

You can mount them vertically, if that's what your getting at, as for a mount, I don't know, you may have to build one yourself.
Personally, I don't k ow if I would try it with a DVR, due to the hard drive, but I think I heard someone else here has experimented with it.
I don't see any problems with the Non DVR version though.

I have an H20-600. It gets quite warm. Most of the air vents are in the bottom and top of the unit. I would be concerned about possible inadequate heat dissipation if that unit were mounted vertically.

Yup, you might have a problem with it then seeing the vent are top and bottom.
The -600's have had a known heat issue and D* was replacing them if you call in.

Lots of people have their DVRs sitting on their side, as long as you don't block the vents its OK. Just like your computer.
