I have an RV, an X2 dish and two Wally’s - a recent upgrade from two ViPs.
Telling the primary receiver I have two receivers doesn’t allow seeing all channels, so historically I’ve told the primary I have one receiver. When ready to watch tv in the bedroom I have tuned to whatever channel I want up front, and if needed then reset the bedroom receiver. It would scan for whatever bird the dish was aimed at, load the channels and I was all good.
The Wally - not so much. I reset it via either holding power button or unplug and When it restarts it just goes back to the previous scan. Within the menus I can find diagnostic which shows it sees the bird I wanna watch but it won’t reset and reload the guide with the appropriate corresponding channels.
With the ViP it worked flawlessly. How can I force this Wally to go look at the bird I’m aimed at and refresh itself?
