thought 91w would have channels per thelist but nothing comes up there. I remember lyngsat.com but it didn't have anything there either. and I can't remember the other places I could look at the satellite channels. any clue where I can get some radio channels with old country music. the new country music doesn't seem like country. guess I am getting too old... charlie

No internet available? I don't know what's out there on FTA but if streaming audio from the internet is an option you can get just about any music you want from free, legal sources.

Music Choice has one country station in the clear on 97W (12053 V 22000) labeled as "Music Test Channel." Seems ok and not too contemporary, but I don't recognize a lot playing there right now. You'd have to listen in to know for sure :)

Edit: ok, it sounds a bit more contemporary now :( Anyway, see if it works for ya. It doesn't for me hehehe

there are no simple projects anymore!!! first I tried to scan 103w. kept getting the channels on 101w. went to 97w. dish was working there ok. I have the microhd, a 1.2 from satav and a dg380 motor from sadoun. went to 72w. working ok. tried to go to 125w. hmmmm. dish didn't move... now this is probably 3 hours into getting printout of channels and resetting microhd to factory reset and booting it up and then tried resetting dish motor by pressing both buttons and dish moved east and then moved back to 97w which is south. would not move past 101w going west. went out to the dish, and it's cold here in Nebraska, and the dish moved to 125w ok. after moving it I was able to go to 103w and scan for channels. 12145v20000 was there and I tried to input the pids from the audio list but nothing has taken so far. I did get the manual out for the microhd and put the pids in audio and the bottom entry and left the video at 8190 but nothing registered. oh well, got the dish moving again. charlie

Don't know how to help you with the MicroHD, but 103W is where you want to be. There is some good ole country music there. Pids 7512 thru 7515, especially 7513 should get your toes a tapping. On my sonicview I have the video pid and pcr both set at 8192.

Her you go Charlie,

C/p from Vendig at Rick's. I know it's posted here, but couldn't find it!

If using the micro hd this is how you would have install the Muzak channels.

It is easier if you first add the freq, SR settings and download any channels from that mux first. Then when you want to edit your channel list part of it is already in there for you.

place a usb stick in the receiver.
hit Menu then go to TOOLS, click on SAVE TO USB
under "SAVE MODE" arrow over to, "userdb"
The "SAVE FILE" will show up with the same file, "userdb",
now click on "START" to save this file to the usb stick.

When done exit out and remove the usb stick and put it in your PC.

Using Ali Editor,
Click on "FILE" then "OPEN" and locate your "userdb" file on your usb stick.
Once your list shows up on the left side panel, click on "ALL SERVICES, then "SATELLITE INFORMATION", Now click on "103W K AMC 1".
Then click on the transponder freq for these channels.
My list had it as 12144_V_20000
The main box will now show up in the center for the channels to edit.
Right click in that box and use "INSERT CHANNEL".

I used my list as TV instead of Radio so here is how my setup appeared in that box.

Channel Name > use for the list given. example (Moe's SW Grill)
Service id = 0
video Pid = 8190
PCR = Audio pid from the list given above example (7586)
Audio Type 1 = Mpeg 2
Audio Type 2 = Mpeg 2
Audio Type 3 = Mpeg 2
H264 Flag = Mpeg 2
Group = blank (left it empty)
Scramble = no
Factory = no
Audio Mode = Stereo
Audio Pid 1 = pid from the list given above example (7586)
Audio Pid 2 = pid from the list given above example (7586)
Audio Pid 3 = pid from the list given above example (7586)

Once done press "OK"

Now the channel will populate on your screen so check it over to make sure the audio pids are in there properly.

Save the file and then upload it to your Micro HD receiver.
Insert the usb stick in the Micro HD
click on Menu , Tools, then "UPDATE by USB"

in Upgrade Mode arrow over to "USERDB"
The File Name will also be the Same.
Now press Start.
Allow the receiver to do it's thing do not remove the usb stick until the receiver reboots
Since I use these under the TV and not Radio this is how I inserted the Muzak channels in the Micro HD receiver.

Sorry, forgot the pids!

Glad to hear you got the dish moving again.
On the Pansat 3500, The PCR has to be the same as the audio PID programmed.

thanks catamount. i am listening to country gold. now need to add more channels and rename the userdb to a date/name so i don't lose it. there was a minor difference in your instructions. some steps were not needed in my fill-in-box on the ali editor. i did the tv and as soon as the 103w came up, the channel was there. thanks so much. charlie

No problem here on Firefox! I went there before I responded to Charlie. Nothing to do with what Charlie needed. It was 99 C-band channels Fatair was looking for.

post3323759 has the attached file with the pids for the audio channels in question. No longer necessary as you've posted them here.

I didn't hear any classical. Lost that one I used for music on the beach feeds a while ago also. Haven't heard any others either. :(
