Welcome back!

The move went much faster then expected! It was a very smooth move, my thanks to LER for getting the new server ready for us which helped this move glide along!

At the moment some users are viewing us completely on the new server while others are viewing us via the old server, no matter which one your on it's ok!

If you are on the old server don't worry your DNS will update sooner or later, we designed this move so that you could access us even while waiting for the DNS to update itself worldwide.

We do realize that on the new server we still have a few minor tweeks to make, if you are on the new server and see anything strange please let us know.

Welcome HOME!

For those of you with satelliteguys.us email addresses, please note that POP and IMAP service are currently not working, LER has been notified.

Ok email is now fixed.

If you can not check your email (if you are one with a satelliteguys.us email address) please PM me and I will reset your password.

It seems like the password scheme between linux and freebsd has changed.

Just noticed looking at the stats that the backup just kicked in. (Normallay backup starts at 3am eastern) but I forgot to change the time on the new server

If there is any slowdown its because of this backup process. Sorry about that. :D

scott the server is quick right now even with the backup running.... I also am unable to check my satguys email... I will try again tommorow morning when I wake up :) and I will make sure everything is set right on my end then ;)

Scott,I've been back on the site for approx. 10 minutes now.Everything is moving smooth and very quick so far. :up :)

It does seem snappy even with the backup running, it will be interesting to see how fast it is when the backup is not running. :D

Nice!!! :up :up :up :up :up

How do you send 20 packets? I type in MS DOS Prompt: ping www.satelliteguys.us .

It then sends 4 packets.

I've noticed that when I make a post, the post is absent of my little rotating star, but when I close the topic and go back in, it's visible. Also visible is everyone elses star and my previous posts, but when I make a new quick post it's not there. Never really noticed if it did that before or not but thought I would mention it...

It done it before the new server was installed. I noticed that the other day.

Just FYI, we are now moving DishRetailer.COM to our new server, because of this you might see an short slowdown of the system.

Thanks for your understanding!

The move of DishRetailer.COM to the new server is now complete!

I personally did not notice ANY slowdown on the server durring this server intensive process. :)

I think I love this new server. :D
