Wealth TV is available on Verizon FioS for a long time. Will dish ever carry it?

I doubt it. They most likely will use their precious bandwidth for channels that people actually watch....

I don't think Dish sees a market for it considering that, well, they're suppose to be the cheap TV provider.

If not, and in HD AND 3D, I'm dropping Dish.

I believe it's available on the Roku, not sure about a cost.

As part of my new duties at DISH (see http://www.satelliteguys.us/dish-forum/285847-echostar-job-opening-cto-anyone.html ) I will not be adding this channel.

I would watch this. They have some niche programming. Wish they come up on Boxee.

You can watch it online. Question becomes are you willing to pay for it, it's not free.

At least someone is achieving wealth from WealthTV. Too bad it's not any of the viewers.

Actually, with my job at risk, this would depress the hell out of me. Maybe this just isn't the time for such programming, economy wise.

Actually its a good channel. I have it on Uverse.
Lots of interesting stuff on it.

It could use a name change in this shaky economy.
It sounds kind of obnoxious.

I would not however pay extra for it on my Roku.

I've subscribed to it on Boxee. 99cents a month. Quality is at best 720 pixelated. not 1080p.

WealthTV has secured the rights to broadcast the next Tomasz Adamek fight. Apparently they are going to be a player in live boxing broadcasts, so hopefully Dish takes another look at adding this channel.

It's on Roku & it's free. There is a pay version of the channel on Roku in full HD, but I didn't pay for it. The channel is a cross between Bravo reality shows & Travel Channel. Of course they focus on locales way out of my price range.
