Late last week and into the weekend I decided to do a rescan of my FTA Channels-After some weather issues..I found that I had to go through hoops to get any signal from 72-83-And they were much weaker than usual..Plus I could not get anything beyond 83..Like the motor had frozen..I ended up putting the dish/motor at 0 a couple of times..Finally went outside and pushed both buttons on the motor simultaneously..That got the Dish to move farther west..Then came back in to rescan..And everything came in great..As good as when I first had the motor on..(DG-280)
I now have the entire 72-125 arc..
All channels coming in..mostly 35 or above signal
There had been, over the last few months, issues with channels showing up one Satellite position over from where they should be, or duplication of channels (ex, a 97West channel showing up on 99 West) All those issues seem to be fixed..
Just when you think Youre at the end of your rope with FTA..Everything turns out right..
