Welcome Package w/ VIP211

I am looking to get the $10 Welcome Package and use a VIP211. I know I will only get SD with the Welcome Package but I want the OTA local channels, hence the 211. Will I have a problem getting DISH to activate this? I have located a used 211 for $100. What dish should I get if I want the option to upgrade to a HD package later? Would going Free For All be a better option? Any other advice?

I think the Free install only happends if you BUY the Receiver right from E*. Or a Local retailer.
A 211k with a free install is $299. Activation fee, Can'not confirm ,but I bet its anywhere between $6-15.

A dish 500 will get you reception for the Welcome Pak and a variation of the 1000 dish will have you setup for HDTV if you wish in the future. A 1000.2/1000.4 or 1000+ will depend on your location and programming you subscribe to.
