Got an email yesterday about the Wetek Play 2. It can supposedly do 4K, 60fps off of the satellites.
There are no photos of the backside.

"Up to 2GHz"? Does that mean it has a variable clock speed, or that they come in various speeds and they're not telling you which one you get, or what?

Play2 looks interesting but I'd like to know more details about the S2 tuner, 16/32apsk? 4:2:2 mpeg or h.264? etc. Does it output 8 or 10bit? I suspect software support will be the rate limiting step.

Based on previous success, (or lack thereof) of Android based FTA boxes I think I'll wait and see. At first blink it seems to be another "all things to all peoples" box that I've grown leary of.
