Great thread Wms-stargate, and great responses. Nice to see what others are using for installations, maintenance, etc.

Mine are:
"Bird Hunter" see pic
Channel Master signal meter
8Dtek Desired
Craftsman wrenches
Mike Koh['s latest Ku FTA satellite listings

And a pipe filled with vanilla flavored tobacco!

I have an HTC One M9. It has a very sensitive angle sensor in it. I use an Android app called Clinometer.

The 8Dtek units look really really wild. I would like to build something similar down the road. The main thing is I hope this hobby can keep my interest! I'm not addicted totally yet.

I have some similar for the arcade addition I definitely do have lol. It is a terrible sickness I must say. Anyway we call the units we build jamma test stations. Right down to the portable 7" LCD's. Thanks for the really nice leads spongella.

Now both of those app you posted guys are really nice as well. I hope to free up some time and get those tested.

Right now I am about to punt my laptop. I really don't care at this point if I make the three pointer or not. I am about to rm -rf this darn thing.

Once the dish is installed and peaked ... the Sats and Channels are programmed in... and everything is working well...

There is ONE tool that may be the most valuable of them all!

Lack of this tool can lead to major disharmony in the household. Up to, and including, Divorce.

A few known symptoms caused by lack of this device:

Hours of frustration and hair-pulling.

Hauling your butt up and down repeatedly.

Moving of furniture and house cleaning.

Family members bickering about who is to blame..

Children grounded for not being 'responsible'.

Looking in the dog house and searching around the yard. ( Even following Fido around)

Suspicion of recent visitors to the household.

The list goes on and on.

And what might this most incredible and indispensable FTA tool be?
