what Directv Satellites for HD?

What satellites do i need to aim at to grab HD i see in the list 101, 110 and 119? Is this where Directv has their HD.. I think the list is cool but why isn't it updated with Directv HD channels?

Not sure what you are asking or what list and stuff you a referring to that is not updated and such; post a link or something would help us understand.

Any way, DirecTV has (or will have) HD located on all the below locations; be aware that changes are taking place and do from time to time as well:


Spaceway 2 & DirecTV 11 at 99.2°W (aka 99)
Spaceway 1 & DirecTV 10 at 102.8°W (aka 103)
DirecTV 5 at 109.8°W (aka 110)
DirecTV 7S at 119.0°W

I am not aware of any current HD programming emanating from DirecTV 4S/8 at 101.0°W, but it is the core satellite location and you must receive it for proper setup and will be if you are using a DirecTV dish that is aimed correctly.

Ahh, thanks for the link; I never look at these types of things; too me there always seems to be something wrong with them or they don't stay updated enough to bother.

YES, all 5 thus the 5 LNB dishes.
