What Does AutoRecord Mean?

What does AutoRecord mean when your talking about the Directv DVR? One of my shows says Autorecord instead of the channel it comes on like other shows do. Thanks to anyone who answers back.

Auto Record is a function you can set for any program on a non DVR D* box.

It basically tells the box you want to change to a particular program when it comes on.

i think he mean when you goto a show and select a Cast-theStar-AutoRecord i would imagine that option would record everything that person in including PPV

auto-record is when you use smart search and then select auto record. Like if you searched for Chicago Bares, then selected autorecord it would record every show that had Chicago Bares in the title or description on channels you receive .

Yes I know I intentionally spelled it Bares since I did not want to start any wars over which actual team I mentioned.
