What equipment do I need/A good tutorial

Hey,

I have a DVB-S receiver coming for my computer that a family member gave me and I want to use it but I know next to nothing other than I want to get Free-To-Air Satellite TV.

I have no idea really what dish I need, what else I need with it, how to setup it up(being aiming and such).

I have been looking for a good tutorial but I can't seem to find anything. If someone could please point me in the right direction I would highly appreciate it.
