Hey, I was wondering what would happen if I use a 39" dish with a C Band LNB?

Thats been discussed in the main FTA section a number of times over the years.
The most recent discussions were in two threads by Satcom1, and Linuxman.
Both threads have good info, and links to previous discussions on the subject.
Even tests on 36" dishes.
Also, you will find the minimal lists of transponders receivable. (search the Linuxman thread for that)
Be prepared to skim over a lot of guessing and experimenting to find the meat in both threads.

A year or two ago & tried a C band feed horn & LNB on a 36" Ku band dish .

Analog , a couple channels pretty strong , the rest went down in strength .

I scrounged a 10' Dish and played with it for a while . I no longer use it , back to Ku .

Wyr
