I just need something to peak off of in anticipation of getting service on W5. I want to make damned sure I get a usable signal before I go down the path of buying a receiver.

I only have a 6 footer to dedicate to this.

I notice you list a Pansat 9200HD, does it have the 8PSK board in it? If so then this might work for you( my Ferguson/Solomend picks these up):

3780H 30000 DVB-S2 8PSK

;)

a 6 footer works great on the W5 stuff. I tried it a while back and I'm just up the road from ya and got very good results

Ice as a matter of compairison, on 103 West

3840 H 26681 (ION Pacific)

Here is what I get for Q 26 - 34, what do you get on this one. You seem to get better readings on your six footer then I do.

I'll check tomorrow and report back...I think that one I can get up to a 40-45 on the Pansat but its been a while

Sounds good, also I get no sign of PBS, not even a blip, 4090 V 14028.

that one is a pain in the a** to get. When I lock it to update thelist it takes 2 or 3 scans for it to register the channel....very low quality

Plus skyvision keeps mentioning 6ft and larger dishes in marketing promotions and talk shows, so they must have a lot of customers using 6ft dishes with acceptable results.

Any one with a 6 footer willing to help me out with this?

I have a 6' offset Prodelin commercial dish dedicated for 105W for 4DTV and it gets 80-90Q with a conical scalar. The HITS feeds are pretty strong and are fine without the scalar anyway just a bit lower.
