Hi all,

What is cross over frequency in satellite communication?

if Down link frequency, Local Oscillator frequencies and Cross over frequencies are
given how to calculate the L band frequency??

Regards,
Sankarprabhakar

I am not sure about the "cross over frequency" but if you have the downlink frequency and the LO frequency you can calculate the L-Band frequency.

For C-Band:
(LO) - (Downlink Freq) = L-Band Freq
Ex: 5150 - 3720 = 1430

For Ku Band:
(Downlink Freq) - (LO) = L-Band Freq
Ex: 11720 - 10750 = 970
