hello all,

I'm in the process of overhauling my setup witch consists of :

vip211
811
311
4900

dish 500 legacy lnbs 110, 119
second dish at 61.5

sw64 switch

New setup will be:

vip722 dual tuner
vip211
811
311

what type of lnbs and switches, and separators should I use?:hungry:

thanks in advance

Using legacy LNBs is a challenge. You would need 5 lines off the switch to run all the receivers with legacy equipment which means 2 switches.

A dish 1000.2 wont work for 4 receivers, only 3. If you go with a DPP 44 which then you can get away with 4 lines, thus you would only need the one switch. Seperators only work with DPP switches. (DPP 44, 1000.2, DPP twin). You would need to swap out the legacy LNBs to Dish Pro but this way you could use one switch and get rid of your legacy adaptors. That would be the most simple setup, not the cheapest though.
