I thinks it's called TWA "Transmitting Wave Amplifier" for uplink purposes.

That is a Prodelin dish. It is a simple receive only fixed dish setup. It may have been used for Muzak or some other single channel purpose. The LNB is an older single polarity 4000 series Ku band Norsat. The seller has no clue about satellite stuff and it's way over priced IMHO.

All jokes aside, yes it is receive only like fearless said. Just a Norsat DRO LNB, with separate Feed horn. So, it looks different than maybe a LNBF(LNB and Feed horn all in one) that you are used to seeing.
Only reason I can see it being that high in price, is because it does say "free Shipping", and we all know shipping is not really free.

Most of the similar Prodelin or CM dishes I have found have had the very same feed horn and LNB attached. They are for receiving a single transponder on one satellite. DTN, Musak, and Music Choice would likely have sold these as a package with the receiver.
I usually get them for free, that's quite pricey for a used one, guessing that would be close to a new unit price when it was originally purchased. It would be very expensive to ship though. You can usually find them on (smaller) office building roofs, gas stations, restaurants, radio stations (TV too), and numerous other businesses have used them. Many of those services have gone to IP delivery so often these are left on the roof unused.
If you get it, keep the feedhorn. It works best for that dish and you can use an Inverto LNB that bolts right on giving you both polarities.

The price isn’t that bad considering what a 1.2m Geosat costs shipped. But yeah try to get one free, if they’re re roofing an empty building they’ll usually just let you take it to get it out of the way
