Very few movies that I have seen more than twice - because I am always more curious to see something else that I have not seen.
For example, there are at least 2 dozen movies in these posts that I have not seen at all.
Interesting that there are no 30's movies in this list, because those are probably the ones I have seen most often:
- Wizard of Oz (only one mentioned above)
- It's A Wonderful Life (totally surprised at this not mentioned above)
- Philadelphia Story (admittedly more obscure than the other two)
outside of those, would be the first two Star Wars movies.
PS I just can't bring myself to watch Miami Vice The Movie in preference to Miami Vice The Classic TV Series.
I watched the dan potter movie again.. what's worse is I can always throw it on the dvd player.. yet I still watch them when they are on.. shrug..
the wife has noticed that I watch Pitch Black & The Chronicals of Riddick.. pluto nash.. bicentennial man.. over and over and over.. lol.. never on dvd.. only when they are on hbo/sho/max/starz/etc
A lot of mine have already been listed, but to add a few:
Indian Jones Films
Highlander
The Quiet Man (Classic John Wayne flick)
Aliens
Gone in 60 Seconds (The Nicholas Cage version)
Batman Begins
Most of the ones I could think of have been mentioned, but two that immediately came to mind....
Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior
...something about those chase scenes and a feral boy with a razor sharp boomerang just makes it soooooooo damn compelling to watch over...and over...and over again.
