Well FTA is a hobby thing not a system to replace your normal carrier. Unless you like international channels. There are LOTS of wild feeds, thats what makes it a hobby.
And G10R is a GREAT bird :D.

Well, in addition to news and sports feeds (as mentioned) in English, try this site.
It lists FTA channels by language.
Proving my point, that people want to know where to find the language(s) they like. ;)

Click on English.
You'll see the default listing, organized by Channel Name.
Click on the Satellite column heading, and they'll be sorted by bird.
Then, you can easily see which satellites have the most publically listed English channels.

There is more english stuff on c-band but there is a whole lot of it on ku-band, all I got to say is scan the sky's.

Start your hunt. A BLIND SEARCH capable receiver will come in handy.

Finding your English channels will be like prospecting for your gold nuggets. Sometime you will have a mother-load and other times, you won't.

That is the beauty of the hobby. You never know what you will find. When you find a nugget (FTA channel) that you haven't seen before, or no body have reported before, you will have a rush.
