What to do with old receivers/satellite dish

I have canceled my Dish service, but own a 510 receiver, two 311 receivers, and a 500 Dish. Any suggestions on what to do with them? Can I trash them? Should I send in the smart cards? I would give them away if someone wanted them.

You can sell, trash, use them for paper weights or boat anchors. You probably won't get much if anything for the 510 as not many csr's will active it on another account.

The 510 is now considered obsolete, but the 311s would be good to sell. If you want to dispose of them, we do ask that you do so in an environmentally friendly manner. Since you own it, we don't ask for the smart cards back.

Any interest in Dish 500s and mounts? I have 2 or 3, with LNBs and one tripod mount. Just trash or recycle them all?
