what type video cable is the best

Can anyone advise on the best quality video cable to use between the receiver and tv?....svideo, coax, red/yellow/white wires, or the blue green and red wires. Sorry I dont know the correct terms for the wires...Is there a better one to use for high def tv's and regular def ?....Thx

If your TV doesn't have HD and you have component inputs (red, blue, green) then you should use those. If you do have HD, then it's personal preference on whether you use the component or DVI/HDMI. Some people say DVI/HDMI is better, while others prefer component, but you really can't go wrong either way.
