What will happen to Directv going forward

It looks like if they do sell DTV I think it will be only a minority stake and not the full DTV. AT&T did a site update. If you sign into DTV.com it redirects to the AT&T login site. You can't just sign into DTV.com separately anymore.

They should have left the sites alone. It's a pain to log in now.

I just went directly to Directv.com ...
That said, it may be different if your not logged in when you go there.

For a year or two now, when you typically go to the sight, it would take me to a separate log in sight and ask if I wanted to go to ATT or Directv and to use the appropriate password .
 
I think if anyone of the private equity firms buy DTV would Apollo be the best? I found out they own Cox Media and some TV stations.
