I was afraid maybe I should not have mentioned it. :) Was there something I could have done with the mount to open up the moving range? From what I understand of H-to-H mounts, this was like that but with the motor housing cast in a position making it physically impossible to move past a certain point. Sort of a "half" horizon-to-horizon range. Years ago (in the 1980s), I remember hearing of the idea "put the motor on the other side of the dish and get access to low-angle satellites", but this one did not at all have any ability to do so.

If all of this is now off-topic, I apologize. It it is worth discussing, I could start a new topic. That mount always did mystify me.
