Last night on Charlie Chat they talked about the specials on the 6000 receiver. I was on hold most of the chat (waiting to talk to Charlie), and didn't catch it all. What was the cost of the 6000? $199?

And does it include both modules the enhanced module, and the module so we can also get OTA broadcasts?

Thanks

Jeff

I hope this helps:

(5) New HDTV package will be available with a dish 500 plus a 6000 receiver with the enhanced HD adapter.

(6) Customer offer for Enhanced HD adapter for Model 6000

(a) $99 installed. Shipping charges waived with subscription to HD
programming

or

(b) Free to Annual HD Programming package customers.

(7) Customer offer of Model 6000.

(a) $499 MSRP receiver only plus $99 installation

or

(b) $199 installed and one year minimum programming agreement
to America's Top 50 plus HD package. There is a limit of one receiver.
Offer begins 9/16/03 and ends 10/31/03. Savings of $399.

I do not kow if it includes the OTA module.

Edit: look in this thread for 6000 OTA module information. The answer might be Yes it is included.
