Easily the best OMG shot I've ever seen was Jerry West's half- court shot to tie Game 3 of the 1969-70 NBA Finals against the Knicks. There were no 3-pointers then, but had the rule been around, the shot would have won the game. But the Knicks wound up winning in overtime, 111-108, to go up 2-1 in games. (They won the series in 7.)

Actually, just about any shot that Connie Hawkins ever made.

I am glad you mentioned The Hawk. He lost so many years because of being framed in the 1960s college basketball fixing scandal before winning the lawsuit that enabled him to play in the NBA.
