When did Dish add the "Keep at most X episodes" feature to the 522/625?

I was updating some of my timers and noticed that my 522 now has the "Keep at most X episodes" feature. This is great! I've been waiting for this feature for a long time. When did they add it? I'm running ver L251.

L251 I think currently I am at L253

Found it! Looks like it was added in L250. Can't wait to use this feature!

I never had L250 so for me it was L251

I love this feature. I use it to record the evening news so I can watch it whenever I get home. I don't have to worry about a bunch of old news programs filling up the HDD. Now if I can just get the wife to do the same with her sitcoms . . . .

Did it set by default to erase after an x number of episodes have been erased? My guess is that they didn't so that people's recordings are not effected.

Recordings that were already on the disk before the change occurred won't be affected.
