When do you pay "up front" fees?

Whether ordering online or over the phone, when do you pay the one time up front fees? Is it when you place your order or on the day it is installed?

Well, I would consider at install to still be "up front", but either way is fine by me - just curious.

Depends on your credit. If your credit is excellent, you may not have any upfront fees.
