Anybody have any idea when dish is going to release the VIP222 receiver? I have several people who want HD but does not, repeat, does not, want DVR with it. I have stringing these people along.

Looks like End of September / Early November. Although with the HDMI issues it could be delayed even longer. I believe the 222 HDMI port is the same one on the 622.

Neutron, the HDMI problem also affected the 211s. Mine works fine too but there's been several complains about it on the 211s too.

We will be lucky to get DVR functionality let alone it getting released to the 5XX single tuner line of receivers.
