I've watched plenty of 3D video and now have seen TRON on 3D game on the PS3 but haven't seen anything for the XBOX 360 even though proponents of the platform argue that the XBOX 360 does 3D.

Anyone care to get specific on what's out there? I'd like to test my 3D system out on it.

Black Ops is in 3D for the 360. You have to go into the set up menu for it and specifically enable 3D, then manually enable 3D on your display and put it in Side by Side mode. I'm pretty unimpressed with Call of Duty in 3D, doesn't really do much for me, could be better then it is.

M$ isn't really interested in 3D at this point. Any games that claim to support it have it done rather cheaply or to the point where it doesn't really enhance the experience. I'm sure the next console will have more native support, but at this point if 3D gaming is really your thing get a PS3 or a high end gaming PC.

Thanks. I'll have to check the two suggestions out. I assume these are all copies that have the 3D option in the menu setup. I understand the need to manually configure the monitor for side by side.

For Black Ops all you have to do is select Options when the game first loads and scroll about 3/4s the way down to 3D. I wonder if PS3 games require changing the settings on the TV or if it will automatically detect. My BD Player automatically detects a 3D signal and you don’t have to do anything, Xbox requires Side x Side, cable box requires over-under.

In a PS3 3D game, you select whether you want 2D or 3D in a simple popup. Then the game begins and my projector auto switches to 3D if that is what I select. In VUDU. It's auto 2D until I launch the 3D version of a movie and my projector auto switches over to 3D. The only time I need to switch to 3D is if the source is only 2D and I want to watch in a simulated 2D to 3D conversion mode.

If it doesnt auto detect it and you have to enable and choose side by side is it actual 3D or a conversion? I play it on my PS3 and it looks great in 3D.
